If today is the day
it all falls apart,
crumbles and breaks
in my searching hands,
or splinters along the shoreline
then it is ok.
You do not need to find
new things to talk about
or fill the space
with conversations
that will keep me present.
Today
the time has past
and it is all ok.
I'm ok.

ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay the Little Monster has been out battling to become a queen; fighting against shadows who want her to believe nothing is possible but she hopes that when victory is hers a world of possibility will remain, and knowing there is love from across the pond helps to shore up her army.
